Teams Overview

Learn how Formula Bot Teams work — share data, collaborate on analysis, and manage access across your organization.

Formula Bot Teams let you collaborate with colleagues in a shared workspace. Share data, chats, playbooks, and connectors so everyone on your team works from the same source of truth.

Teams are available in two tiers — Max ($49/seat/month) and Enterprise ($149/seat/month) — with differences in AI Actions, file limits, embed capabilities, and support level. See Team Billing for a full comparison.

What You Can Share

When you create content inside a team workspace, it becomes visible to all team members:

  • Chats — Ask questions and run analyses that your whole team can see and build on
  • Files — Upload spreadsheets, PDFs, and documents to a shared library
  • Data Connectors — Connect databases and analytics tools once, let everyone query them (note: connector credentials are protected — only the creator can update them)
  • Playbooks — Build reusable analysis workflows the team can run and schedule
  • Reports — Generate and share write-ups and visualizations

How Team Workspaces Work

When you join a team, your sidebar splits into two sections:

  • Personal — Your private workspace, unchanged. Only you can see content here.
  • Team — Shared workspace visible to all team members.

You can switch between personal and team contexts using the workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar. Content you create in each section stays in that section.

Roles

Teams use three roles to control what members can do:

RoleWhat They Can Do
OwnerFull control — billing, settings, members, and all content
AdminManage members and content, but no billing or ownership changes
MemberCreate and view shared content

See Roles & Permissions for the full permissions breakdown.
