Import Excel, CSV, and TSV files from Microsoft OneDrive into Formula Bot for AI chats, dashboards, charts, and reports.

Connect OneDrive to choose files from your Microsoft account and import them into Formula Bot for AI-powered analysis.

Prerequisites

  • A personal Microsoft account or work/school Microsoft account
  • Access to the OneDrive file you want to analyze
  • A supported spreadsheet or tabular file

Some Microsoft work or school organizations require administrator approval before users can connect third-party apps. If Microsoft blocks the sign-in, ask your tenant admin to approve Formula Bot.

Setup Steps

1. Open OneDrive Import

  1. Go to Dashboard
  2. Click Add Data
  3. Select OneDrive

Formula Bot opens the Microsoft OneDrive picker.

2. Sign In and Select a File

  1. Sign in with Microsoft if prompted
  2. Approve the requested OneDrive access
  3. Choose one or more Excel, CSV, or TSV files
  4. Click Open or Select

Formula Bot imports the selected files and redirects you back to the dashboard when the files are ready.

3. Analyze the File

Use the imported files in AI chat, dashboards, charts, reports, and spreadsheet workflows. Formula Bot reads the imported copies and leaves the source OneDrive files unchanged.

Supported Files

OneDrive imports work best with structured data:

  • Excel workbooks
  • CSV files
  • TSV files

Troubleshooting

Microsoft Sign-In Failed

  • Confirm you are using a Microsoft account with access to the file
  • If this is a work or school account, your organization may require admin approval
  • Try signing out of extra Microsoft accounts and connecting again

Picker Did Not Open

  • Allow popups for Formula Bot
  • Refresh the dashboard and try again
  • Check whether your browser is blocking Microsoft sign-in windows

File Did Not Import

  • Confirm the file is an Excel, CSV, or TSV file
  • Make sure the file still exists in OneDrive
  • Try selecting the file again from the OneDrive picker

Security Notes

Formula Bot uses Microsoft OAuth and imports only the file you choose. The connector does not edit, delete, or overwrite files in your OneDrive.
