What is Formula Bot?
Formula Bot is an AI-powered data analytics platform that lets you analyze spreadsheets, databases, and documents using natural language. Upload your data, ask questions in plain English, and get instant insights.
Do I need technical skills to use Formula Bot?
No. Formula Bot is designed for anyone who works with data, regardless of technical background. You don't need to know SQL, Python, or any programming language.
What file formats are supported?
Formula Bot supports:

Is there a free plan?

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes. Go to Billing in the dashboard to change your plan. Changes take effect immediately.
Do unused messages roll over?
No, message allowances reset each billing period and don't roll over.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards through our secure payment processor.
Data & Privacy
Is my data secure?
Yes. Your data is:
- Encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest
- Processed in isolated environments
- Never shared with third parties
- Deletable at any time
Does Formula Bot train AI on my data?
No. Your data is never used to train AI models. Your information remains private and confidential.
Where is my data stored?
Data is stored on secure cloud servers in the United States with enterprise-grade encryption.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can delete individual files, chat history, or your entire account at any time. Deleted data is permanently removed.
Features
What's the difference between AI models?
- Base: Fast responses for simple queries

Can I export my analysis?
Yes. Export data tables as Excel, CSV, or PDF. Charts can be downloaded as PNG, SVG, or PDF.
What are Playbooks?
Playbooks are automated workflows you can create and schedule. Define analysis steps once, then run them daily, weekly, or monthly.
What are tool credits?
Some features (like PDF to Excel conversion) use tool credits instead of message limits. Check your plan for credit allocations.
Technical
Why isn't my connector working?
Common issues:
- Credentials expired (re-authenticate)
- Firewall blocking connection
- Insufficient permissions

Why are my query results different than expected?
The AI interprets your questions based on your data structure. Try:
- Being more specific about columns or metrics

What's the maximum file size?
File size limits depend on your plan. Free accounts allow up to 10MB; paid plans allow larger files up to 1GB.
Can I use Formula Bot offline?
No. Formula Bot requires an internet connection to process your data and generate AI responses.
Account
How do I reset my password?
- Go to the login page
- Click "Forgot password"
- Enter your email address
- Check your email for reset instructions
How do I delete my account?
- Go to your profile menu
- Select "Delete Account"
- Confirm deletion
This permanently removes all your data, chats, and files.
Can I have multiple users on one account?
Currently, accounts are individual. Team features are coming soon.
