Inviting Members

Invite colleagues to your team so they can access shared data, chats, and playbooks. Invites are sent via email and expire after 7 days.

Who Can Invite

• Owners can invite members as either Admin or Member
• Admins can invite members as Member only
• Members cannot send invites

Sending an Invite

1. Open your team settings
2. Go to the Members tab
3. Click Invite Member
4. Enter the person's email address
5. Select a role (Admin or Member)
6. Click Send Invite

The invitee receives an email with a link to join your team.

Accepting an Invite

When someone receives an invite:

• Existing users — Click the link, sign in, and they're added to the team immediately
• New users — Click the link, create a Formula Bot account, and they're added to the team after signing up

Invitees with an Existing Pro Subscription

If the invitee currently has an active Pro subscription, it will be automatically cancelled when they accept the team invite. They receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of their Pro billing period. Once on the team, their account uses the team's plan (Max or Enterprise) — there's no need to maintain a separate subscription.

Invite Expiry

Invites expire after 7 days. If an invite expires, you'll need to send a new one. There's no limit to how many times you can re-invite someone.

Managing Pending Invites

View and manage outstanding invites from the Members tab in team settings:

• View pending invites — See who hasn't accepted yet and when the invite was sent
• Cancel an invite — Remove a pending invite before it's accepted

Billing Impact

Each accepted invite adds a seat to your subscription. You're billed per seat — see Team Billing for pricing details.
