Connect Google Search Console to analyze your website's search performance, keywords, and rankings directly in Formula Bot.

Prerequisites

  • A verified property in Google Search Console
  • Owner or Full user access to the property
  • A Google account with access to the property

Setup Steps

1. Start the Connection

  1. Go to Connectors in the sidebar
  2. Click Add Connector
  3. Select Google Search Console

2. Authenticate with Google

  1. Click Connect with Google
  2. Sign in to your Google account
  3. Review the permissions requested
  4. Click Allow to grant read-only access

3. Select Your Property

  1. Choose the Search Console property from the dropdown
  2. Select the URL prefix or domain property
  3. Click Connect

4. Verify Connection

The connector status should show green. Start analyzing your search data.

What Data is Available

Performance Metrics

  • Clicks - Total clicks from search results
  • Impressions - Times your pages appeared in search
  • CTR - Click-through rate (clicks/impressions)
  • Position - Average ranking position

Dimensions

  • Query - Search terms users typed
  • Page - URLs that appeared in results
  • Country - User's country
  • Device - Desktop, mobile, or tablet
  • Date - Specific dates for trending

Troubleshooting

Connection Failed

  • Verify you have Owner or Full user access
  • Make sure you're selecting the correct property
  • Check that the property is verified

Limited Data

  • Search Console has a 16-month data retention
  • Very recent data may take 24-48 hours to appear
  • Low-traffic queries may be anonymized

Token Expired

Reconnect by going to Connectors and clicking Reconnect on the Search Console connector.

Best Practices

Combine with GA4

Use both connectors together for complete insights:
